A (real) friend and I discussed this today. Lately I’ve been made aware of the fact that I “know” some virtual friends better than I know my neighbors. This didn’t used to be the case… I think it’s an internet related phenomenon, although it may have started before that, but it can only get worse if we don’t watch it.

You’re right. Like any good thing we can take it too far. The tricky part is balancing online relationships with unplugged ones.

Finally catching up on all your podcasts…sorry I’m a slacker
I Just had to say, I love social networking! For me it’s connected me closer with my relatives in another state, I love knowing everyday what all my cousins are up to, and even my next door neighbor and I have had deeper conversations about life which started over FB messaging. And Robert, I also want to say a Taco Bell bean burrito needs FOUR packets of hot sauce, one is definitely not enough for me!
